These galvanized turnbuckles feature an elongated eye on one end to maximize ease of attachment and minimize stress on the eye. The other end has a hook with a larger width for a stronger hook. Turnbuckles are measured by the diameter of the bolt and the length of the opening of the turnbuckle body. The overall length of these turnbuckles will be longer than the stated length, as that only pertains to the opening of the turnbuckle body. These turnbuckles are designed to ASTM F1145 specifications.
